Keith Davis, President
While still a college student at Lamar
University in Beaumont, Texas, Keith
Davis began his computer business. At
the time, in the late 80s, there was
little off-the-shelf software.
Therefore, Keith began programming
customized applications for the local
businesses. After getting his computer
science degree in 1987, Keith partnered
with a friend and they incorporated
American Computer Ingenuity. Keith sold
the software, wrote it, installed in and
supported it, learning every aspect of
the business.
In 1995,Keith sold his
part in the business and became a sole
proprietor in Lyra Systems Development
until 1998 when he incorporated
Application Factory to serve as a team
of developers and consultants providing
first customized software applications
and then hardware through ANOVA, a
corporation established in 2007.
