EXAMPLE: Application
Factory, Inc. programmed the
Bulk Terminal Accounting System
that utilizes a half million
lines of computer code to run a
tank farm storage facility from
the front gate to the back dock
for one of our customers. The
application handles
transportation modes including
track, rail, pipeline and marine
vessels. The program
communicates with customers in
an automated way and
electronically files government
reports (IRS, DOE, EPA).
The program also maintains the
tank farm's inventory levels and
handles the customer's
statements and billing. The
application is the lifeblood of
the plant providing a multitude
of operation and management
reports.
